If you wanna to transfer/copy all files and data from iPhone or Android phone to the new Google Pixel/Pixel XL smartphone, you certainly do not want to miss: Option 1: Attach an USB cable to your Google Pixel or Pixel XL, then insert the cable into an USB port on your Mac computer. Google Pixel users are already embattled with a host of problems to include battery issues, bugs in the system and a faulty camera. Now, there's another technical glitch that Pixel owners have to contend with as the device is apparently experiencing file transfer problems, but only when using the smartphone with a Mac computer. Then select Multimedia Device or USB Storage in the notification bar of your Google Pixel. I found a work-around. Look at the IP address of your phone in pocket share. (In the screenshot of pocket share above it’s 192.168.2.4. Pixel film studios proslideshow portrait.
In the ‘Go’ menu of OSX type in ftp://192.168.2.4:8081 Excel for mac student.
That allowed me to transfer files.
